Overview

This is the wiki for the Detailed Clinical Models Collaborative. The goal of this effort is to facilitate the sharing of clinical information models.

As of 2008, the HL7 WG Patient Care is hosting work on creation of DCM.

In the harmonisation work between IOS, CEN, CDISC and HL7 a new work item proposal is in development to set quality criteria and determine methodology for DCM. Other organisations are currently being invited to join this work in order to achieve the harmonisation.

Post Medinfo 2007 Brisbane meeting

The meeting was a good continuation of DCM work associated to ongoing work of standards organisations HL7 CEN ISO and is now part of the joint initiative work.

This meeting took place on Saturday 25 in Brisbane in the Saville Hotel, South Bank, Brisbane QLD.

The meeting aimed at the content and structure of care information models; criteria / requirements and so on. The overall program is shown below.
